How to Order a Custom Drum & Painting
Creating a custom drum is a collaborative and intuitive journey. It begins with a consultation—where we explore the animals, elements, colours, and symbols that are meaningful to you. Whether you arrive with a clear vision or just a feeling, we hold space for your story and allow the imagery to unfold from there.
From this connection, your essence and intentions are translated into a unique design, expressed in my artistic style. Each drum is painted with reverence, channeling the energy that wishes to come through.

Part of the magic is in the mystery: you’ll see your drum for the first time when it arrives. No previews, just trust. This allows the drum to come through in its fullness—untainted by overthinking, shaped by Spirit, and ready to meet you in perfect timing.

About Nature's Drum

Corinne Donnelly dishinikawshon. Clearwater, BC dooschiin, pi Salt Spring Island niwiken. Aen famme michif pi english pi chinese niya.
My name is Corinne Donnelly (Coco). I’m a Métis, English, and Chinese artist based on Salt Spring Island, BC. I build hand drums & drum beaters, create custom drum paintings, offer tattoo, and explore the sacred through art.
For the past six years, I’ve been building drums, a path that began with ceremony and evolved into a deep relationship with this ancestral medicine tool. Taught by my friend Eric Jensen, I’ve developed my own intuitive style—wrapping crystals in leather, adorning drums with paint, leather and fur, and painting from a place of spiritual connection.

I also work as a tattoo artist from my private oceanside studio, where I collaborate with clients to create meaningful, spirit-aligned designs. Whether painting a drum or inking skin, my focus is always on honoring the medicine that wants to move through.
May this art elevate you. May it inspire you.
